About me:
Hi there, my name is Abigail. I am passionate about helping students reach their goals and feel confident in the classroom.
Educational Background:
I am currently in my final year of Civil Engineering at University of Cape Town and have maintained a position on the deans list of throughout my degree.
Professional Experience:
I have worked with students at all different levels of education from high school through to university level. Having worked with such a diverse group of students I have developed an understanding that each student learns differently.
Teaching Philosophy:
Having not always been an A student I have a deep belief that anyone can improve if they are willing to try. This belief translates to my teaching by creating an environment that encourages improvement and growth over perfection. This environment helps take some of the pressure off the student while still producing positive results.
